New EPAdb Newsletter released
We’ve released the first 2020 Newsletter.
The tendon is in focus. As known, the tendon is an inelastic fibrous connective tissue that provides a strong connection between bone and muscle, in order to promote structural stability and assisting movement.
Its pathology has a broad spectrum of causes, ranging from traumatic to metabolic fields.
Specificities of itch and every one of “types” of the causes involved, pave the way to therapeutic intervention, no meter it is chirurgical, farmological, kinesiological or using electrophysical agents.
In this Newsletter is we gather information about the Structure, the Vasculature, the Innervation and Pathology of the tendon, supported by recent bibliography.
We also address the issue “Tendinitis Vs Tendinosis”, as some examples of recent severe tendon injuries in sports.
